CATS is Brat
Open access, "inclusive" access, artificial access, and swearing.

CATS is brat. Look, it's been a stressful couple weeks. Can libraries still save democracy? We hope so. Let’s goooooooo.
Got some links:
Library mails books overseas. Library has to stop mailing books overseas because money. Seems like a problem controlled digital lending could solve.
AI vs. AI. Also in AI. But it’s all probably bullshit.
Who’s in charge of the internet? Maybe the courts? But maybe also the people?
You know about enshittification. What about reforestation?
“Inclusive access” isn’t. (We’re shocked, shocked to learn that publishers profit from textbook sales.) But maybe there’s hope?
I think we’d call links breaking a bug, Marketplace of ideas.
The Copyright Office hosted a panel celebrating hip hop. Which is cool, because no one has ever tried to declare war on hip hop via copyright law. (VH-1 Presents! Also CSPAN got really into it.)
Open access? The philosophers are on board!
This space for sale license suggestions.
What would you like to see in CATS? Take our poll or drop a line to laura at libraryfutures dot net. (Laura will also accept photos of cats.)
